In 2012, a group of J-3 Cub pilots gathered in Hartford, WI (HXF) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of their favorite aircraft before heading to the largest aviation celebration in the world. From family heirlooms to Navy Cubs to one of a kind radial-powered Cubs, all told, 82 pilots traveled in for the reunion.
They came from all over the country at 70 miles per hour - these are their stories.
Join us for an aviation family reunion that only happens once every 75 years and learn why flying a Cub is a real “hoot.”
No matter how you describe it, there’s one thing every pilot on the field that weekend would agree: “There sure is nothing better than flying a Cub.”
